so iam going to get my EVO in a few days and i wanted to root it. But i see there two ways. One going to the unrevoked website and doing it from you phone and downloading the app and two pluging it in and using the softwares. So whats the diffrence between the two ?
Unrevoked uses software to Root your device (used to use .apk, but no longer). Other methods you must do everything from your phone and have some knowledge of the inner working of your device.
I recommend Unrevoked. I use it, I wrote an How-To about it. (See Signature)
