I don't know how to root or unlock my Samsung Infuse bootloader and I don't really know what's the purpose of doing those, but what if I do root my phone and unlock the bootloader, will I still be able to update my phone to Gingerbread when it comes out this month? Or do I have to wait and do those things after the update? And does rooting and unlocking the bootloader make the phone faster? What do they do to the phone?
