Root Root Virgin - Now what can I do?...

.. as the subject suggest, I'm rooted sooooo what can I do now?

I know I have root access so I can start themeing but what about ROM's? I'm on Orange UK, not SIM unlocked and not debranded

I dont want 2.2 because I don't want to risk breaking my radio or is there something else I can do?

Oh and my HBOOT is 0.83.
