I've seen ppl try 50×'s in a row before Root and I've also seen ppl bog down the system with a bunch of running apps and also get thru where others didn't.. Just a thought..

Yeah could work, but on other phones I have rooted with the app, it does it first try. Hopefully Kingroot will get this one like that.

Nothing like that will work in this case. The way King root has worked in the past is by accessing the boot loader. We do not have access to it on this phone... Patched.... It even says in King Root that research for this model hasn't even begun yet. We are the 700-something phone in line to be cracked out of like 5000. We are at fewer than 1k research requests. And even then, the order goes by dynamic popularity, not first-come-first-serve... So, it could be a while, if they EVER get to it.

not so and not every device. The ZTE Warp Sync was accessed due to a kernel panic exploit that had nothing to do with the bootloader cuz BOTH the bootloader and Fastboot were inaccessible until Root success. I promise.. [emoji6] I was there and had personal conversations with the Tech dept for both Boost Mobile & ZTE.. They only gave the info after I told them we had Devs waiting to do work on these, made documented warranty/insurance oaths, tied everything I've ever done on a ZTE device to my email address and IMEI#'s. [emoji33] At this point I'm never allowed to collect on insurance claims with Boost Mobile for as long as I live - just so I could help get you guys (everyone) the info we so desperately needed. No hate involved, just trying to help the community as best I can. [emoji28] It was my fault I bricked my Sync and had to wait almost a yr before getting another. [emoji41]
As for being way down the list: I definitely believe that 100%.. The shame is that Carriers & Mfgrs pump out more devices all the time so some really decent ones get buried really quick.

Yeah disabling helps but sucks not having more control over the phone.

There is over 1000+ requests for the phone now on Kingroot. Hopefully they will get to it asap....

Edit... No go on kigroot yet

The Chinese forum has been working on this and is finalizing the project. Wait a bit for their release. It will be the root app plus the recovery img. We will have everything we need. LOL! ZTE is a Chinese manufacturer, so those folks have some insights?

I've reason to believe it may be possible that ZTE Devs and KR are either really close or maybe one and the same.. [emoji41]
If not, then they're keeping a heavy eye on each other

Plus, without recovery but only having root is dangerous. You may brick your phone if you accidentally delete anything after rooting. Hang in there. Once we have them, just root it and immediately install recovery to create a backup.

To me, the most important part of rooting is to enable the recovery. That phone is fast enough to have all the bloatware, lol.

The statement below says it all?

After rooting this device is just perfect! I am very happy with the super user access and the ability to actually control your phone. Finally!

Dude, honestly, I don't think they put a lot of bloatware in this phone. Maybe too much Google crap, but does not seems to have any carrier bloatware... It has 2g memory, does not lag whatever I put on.
