Hi,iam new from this forum.

Please,anyone tell how to root karbonn A3(gingerbread),
i try to use z4root,gingerbreak,universal Androot.
But no one work
pls give suggestions.

Never heard of your device. If its not a well known device chances are it will have very little support.

just an fyi you picked a phone that has almost no dev community behind this device. so you will not really find much as far as support.

not sure what to tell you. have you tried the links that were provided? what happened? the more info you can give us the better we can help you.

but like i said....you have a phone that has virtually no support.....so getting info is very difficult.

LOL yeah i googled your phone so i saw the specs, but that still does not change the fact that there is not much info as to how to root the phone other then the two links already posted.

ok, i'm trying to help......LOL

so the method in the link did not work? or do you not understand how to root it according to the link?

the Z4 root method looks to be the only way to root the phone that i can find.

ok i'm back.....

1. on your computer download this file:z4root 1.3.0.apk

2. connect your phone to your computer via usb

3. on your phone make sure that you have the phone set to usb storage or media(not sure with your phone)

4. you should get a pop up window of your sd card's content

5. move the z4 file to the sd card.

6. you will need a file manager app like astro or es file manager that you can get from the play store.

7. use the file manager to find the z4 root file on your sd card.

8. long press the z4 file and select install.

9. reboot the phone

10. once booted up run the z4 app found in your app drawer and select permanent root.

11. once done, you should reboot the phone.

and congrats!!!!!!!!!

if all goes well then you are rooted

It running,and automatically close.

well that is all i have found.........so you can either stick with an unrooted phone or get a phone that has a dev community where rooting is possible......like the galaxy s3 or something like that.

I've noticed a bunch of newbies having trouble rooting there phone. I think alot of them actually root there phones but don't know it. I think they are expecting to see.some.sort of.change as.soon.as.they reboot there phone. like it will look.differnt or.something. I don't know if they realize they have to get superuser in order to take advantage of being rooted. I don't think alot of them understand wat rooting is!!!!

maybe I'm wrong but I think that's the case alot of the.time. case I always see.post here and.area51 and xda where noobies say they did the root and it finished fine but nothing happened.

I can't stress enough, read read read until u really understand wat rooting is and.wat it does. I Got my first android phone 5 weeks ago and have basicly lived on.the web scowering websites and forums learning bout the android os and rooting. I.finaly rooted last nite.

be paitant. make sure u find a root method for ur EXACT device. not one that's close to ur device model
