Root rooted and lost texting!! how do I fix?

hey i just rooted my brand new prevail and cant text. I was able to text before. does anyone know how to fix?

other then running the one click root what else have you done?
Just running the one click does not affect your texting or anything else on the phone.

ok nevermind. I odin'd back to stock. updated to ed14. then did the one click root. my test text to myself came through fine. everything is ok, I think...

can you not text by clicking on a name in the contacts view?

Yes, on my phone there is 2 spots for touching, one is an icon for text the other is phone icon.

Actually I guess it depend on where you are talking about.

When you first open contacts you get the list of names you touch one and it opens to display the information there you have the phone icon and the text icon.

If you mean can you go directly to text from the first list, the answer is still yes, you just need to long press the contact it will open a menu that allows direct to phone, text, view, edit, and delete of contact.
