Rooted but no root.

Hi, So as the title suggests. I have rooted my S2 T989, only apps that require root say its not rooted.

I have tried Titanium Backup and Root checker.

I followed these guides.

Superuser was installed but still nothing.

Any ideas?

I fixed my problem.

I was tired of waiting for replies. So I did something stupid, I installed the superuser with busy box. I say stupid because I had no clue if it would have messed up my phone without unrooting first.

Well, it worked. I can now allow permission for apps that require root.

The superuser in that guide did not work? Did you try flashing more than once?

Oh yeah. I tried so many times,I thought I would mess something up.

Wish I woulda read this 2 days ago. I lost root somehow. And ended up re-rooting and flashing and blah blah blah
