Root Rooted EVO with Gingerbread!!!

[rab228]

I don't claim to be an expert buy any means but actually more of a nob. But when I have been looking through the forums here I have not seen any info on a rooted EVO having Gingerbread on it. Well today I successfully accomplished the rooting process.....

Now with that being said: Software # 4.22.651.2...Android Version 2.3.3.. I believe I am rooted with gingerbread. I dont see alot of changes but the phone appears to be working fine.

I took advantage of google wide search and succesfully rooted via this link...

[ROM][STOCK] --- Version 4.22.651.2 --- Odexed & De-Odexed --- - xda-developers

I am looking for some input on others who have attempted this...This is a stock ROM but it appears to work so far.

Welcome to the forums!

Actually if you look in the sticky thread, you'll find that we've been on top of things, and a lot of us here are rooted and have tried the rooted version of the new 2.3 OTA.
