Root Rooted Tapout issues

Just rooted my Tapout ascend and bought titanium backup pro. I've uninstalled most the bloatware but certain stock apps such as the tapout and pocket express icons wont go away. you can click them and it says it is not installed which is correct just want to get rid of the icon now. Am I overlooking something simple?

did you click wipe data first before uninstalling, dont know to much about the tapout yet, also restart your phone and go to manage apps and see if you can uninstall there also.

The wipe data did the trick. Theres still stupid tapout logo I have to stare at during boot up for 30 seconds but I can live with that since I dont turn the phone off except for when modding it. Not sure if possible but is there any way to overclock it to 710 like on other roms? I dl'd the CPUtuner but the max is 600 it says. Newb as far as modding phones go so thanks for the patience. also if there is anything you guys are curious about the tapout phone and I can help let me know, thanks.

you need an oc kernal. thus a new rom.

New to the mobile world of modding....i need help to root ascendtapout.those pre-installed apps are getting on my nerves & slowing my beautiful phones performance...

As far as the Tapout Logo goes. Since you are rooted, you can get a nice little program from the market called Boot Animations Installer. They have a bunch of really cool animations that you can set to your boot screen instead of the TapOut crap.
