Rooted with Siyah, now what?

I'm still getting my head around this so sorry if this is written somewhere in the many guides on here and XDA! Forgive my naivety...

So I rooted successfully using Odin and Siyah v5.0.1 following this guide http://androidforums.com/galaxy-s2-...ting-galaxy-s2-dummies-guide.html#post3802016 . Nothing is particularly different to my phone except a couple new apps in my app tray.

I've got SuperSU, CWM, GSII_Repair efs backup done, Nandroid backup done, Titanium backup done. I've got Siya CWM zip and GS2KernelWipe saved on external SD card.

Now I don't know what to do...

Ultimately what I would like is my S2 to go right back to basics and have stock Android (preferably Jelly Bean if it's available?) like a Nexus 4. I don't want any of the Touchwiz stuff anymore. Is this possible? Is it worth doing this? If so how do I do this?

Will I lose all my settings such as mobile network information for sending SMS/MMS and calls?
Will I lose all my accounts like Facebook, Google, etc and have to add all these again?
Will I lose all my saved Wifi networks?
Will I lose all my installed apps and associated storage and app settings?

Also anticipating the release of Jelly Bean via Kies soon, now that I am rooted will I still be able to get this from Kies?

I'll probably have more questions but these are the ones on my mind at the moment.

Sorry again and thanks in advance for any response.

Oh my specs are:
GT-I9100
Android ver: 4.0.4
Baseband ver: I9100NELP4
PDA: I9100XWLPY
CSC: I9100H3GLP7
Carrier: Three-UK

I rooted my phone not too long ago and flashed a new rom. I used Neatrom, and have to say I am loving it.

I used SMS backup to keep my texts, and moved my pics across to the SD card, just in case. I then downloaded the rom from the site and flashed it from CWM.

The phone is now basically back to stock Samsung firmware without the carrier bloatware. Battery life is stunning, on days where I use my phone very little I often find it in the high 80's at the end of the evening. And everything works, rock solid, reliable, not FC's etc. Very, very highly recommended.

On a personal note, I only sync my phone with Gmail, so all my contacts are restored from there. I choose to reload my apps, by going to the play store on line and selecting them from there and installing. Just leave the wifi switched on so it doesn't use all my data allowance up.

Link to Neatrom is here. NEATROM.

You need a launcher to make your phone useable. Touch wiz is the stock launcher. So you already have the stock UI.

If you've rooted, you will not be able to get updates on kies. You might as well flash neat Rom as per togger. If you're using neat, you're already on jelly bean. And it's pretty close to stock anyway. You'll find as new versions of android are released, sale, the developer of neat is very quick to update versions, it's much quicker than kies anyway.

Alright ok thanks for the replies so far guys, I appreciate it. Sorry if this all seems very natural/obvious to you, but I just wanna double check. There are so many warnings and threads about bricked phones, I want to be sure I'm doing the right thing.

So I will try this NeatROM then... I assume I have to download the version that matches my phone's PDA? In my case, XWLPY. Is that what 'saves' all the Three-UK stuff so I can call/text immediately after install? Does that also mean I have to download XWLPY NeatRom Lite v3.5 (18th October 2012) Firmware: I9100XWLPY (4.0.4) as per: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32935592&postcount=8572 ? As I can't see that NeatROM Lite v4.2 is available for me, unless I'm mistaken.

I will carry on with my questions! I am leaning more towards doing a full wipe than install without wipe. I want my phone clean of all the crap it's gathered from 18 month's use.

So I will put the NeatROM zip on my SD card. Where it says "go to recovery" does that mean boot in recovery mode? Shall I do this through the CWM app or by shutting down and doing the button combination press, or doesn't it matter?

Thanks again for all the support.

Flashing NEAT ROM also installs the PhilZ kernel which has the, "brick bug", fix... as does the Siyah kernel that you probably rooted with, not to mention Jeboo and Dorimanx kernels. So you are covered.

No, you can flash any version of NEAT ROM... even the latest Jelly Bean, Android 4.1.2, Full or Lite. See post #1, here, for app's removed in Lite version.

I would go with doing a full wipe and you might find this thread useful... http://androidforums.com/galaxy-s2-...l-wipe-whats-big-deal-steps-take-15-mins.html

Either method of going in to Recovery is fine. For a step-by-step guide to flashing NEAT ROM, see the thread... http://androidforums.com/galaxy-s2-...ngs-root/673679-there-dummies-guide-roms.html

Hey thanks. So I took the plunge. There was no need to worry! NeatROM Lite v4.2 installed successfully. Phone is working like a dream!

Was easy in the end! Thanks for your help and assistance all.
