I have some questions before I try to root.

Now first of all, after rooting are there any other consequences other than bricking? Like the market stop working, icnoming calls, etc.. Has anyone had such problems?

2. Below are my phone and firmware informations:

Will the update.zip work on this without a problem? And last, if something goes wrong and I get an error and then I can't turn it on anymore, what's the way of restoring my phone back to normal? Is there a tutorial posted here somewhere? I'm really afraid of doing this as this is my first Android phone and I don't want to screw it up.

Hi Mitko. Rooting can't brick your phone. The only thing that can brick your phone is ROM Maneger application that is 50% chance to brick your phone or flashing via odin custom roms (not stock roms). I have already maybe rooted and unrooted my phone about 25 times now withouth having a single brick. For more information about rooting and unrooting is next link.

Thanks I will try out your file. After I use it, nothing visual and such will change, right? All I'll end up is with a rooted phone and Superuser installed? Also nothing gets deleted, right?

Yes everything keeps remain as usual only diferent you will have Superuser application that is the main function for giveing acess to root applications that you want to install. Good luck ;)

Thanks I think I will do this in a few minutes. Last few questions are, is it recommended to have more than 10MB free space in SD card just incase? Also same for phone memory.

And IF unfortunately I follow the steps wrongly and I brick it somehow, can I restore it or I will need to take it to a repair service?

Yes, you need to have a little space free on your internal memory for the installation of SuperUser.

And there is probably no way you can go wrong. The instructions are of the simplest level. If you do end up bricking it, you can flash your stock Rom using Odin. Go ahead and take the plunge. :D

Hi mitk0o0o0

This is my 1st Android Samsung mobile "Galaxy y Doues S6012"
Like every thing in the world the mobile had advantages and disadvantages.
The big dis advantage of this mobile "for me" is the small internal memory "170 MB" only
most of the application are installed on the internal memory without giving me any other choices even with the "App 2 SD " application
Now my memory are full and can not install any thing else regardless of my external SD card
My question is: is there any way to move the applications from the internal memory to the SD card?
As i told you the "App 2 SD " didn't do that
is rooting my mobile do that and how?
pls it is very important to me,or else !!!! may be i will change the mobile "which i don't prefer to because it is a new one and has 2 SIM cards
Many thanks for you
