I am putting this question in this forum because there is no specific category for this phone. It is a cheap android phone that I picked up in Shenzhen to use as a backup, in case my primary phone dies. I could leave well enough alone but I would really like to be able to get rid of all of the Chinese on it. Is there some way to root it? I also thought, since it is a cheap phone, I would feel more relaxed experimenting with it than I would my primary phone. It is android 2.3...I don't expect to be able to upgrade to 3.x or 4.x - it is not likely the hardware would support it. I just want to get rid of all of the Chinese on the phone, and learn how to root/flash a phone in the process.
