Root Rooting and upgrading.

Once I root my phone I can still upgrade to a new phone through my carrier without a problem right? I don't see it being a problem but I just wanted to make sure others haven't encountered any issues whither this.

Are you keeping the rooted phone and upgrading to a new phone? Or are you trading in your phone/selling it back to Sprint?

well if you are bringing your phone back you can always unroot the phone. we have ways to do it. just need to know what is your bootloader.

From what I've read, the one time sprint doesn't care if the phone is rooted or not is when you're trading it in. You can always throw the stock rom back on and keep the s-off. As long as its functional, it shouldn't matter

Sprint generally doesn't care if the phone is rooted. You won't have problems selling it back rooted.
