Root Rooting EVO 4G with 2.3.4?

[badassmexican]

Hi,

I recently rooted my EVO 4G with 2.3.3 and works great.

Now my buddy wants me to do his but it has Android 2.3.4.

Is it possible to root this phone?

I searched the forums but "2.3.4" returned no results.

Thanks.

welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what is the hboot of the phone? power off (you might need to uncheck fastboot, settings/app/uncheck fastboot) then press and hold power+vol down. this will take you to the hboot screen. at the top it will have your hboot version. report back on what you see and we can go from there.
