Root rooting lg optimus m with update 2.2.2

any updates on rooting an optimus m with the latest unrootable update?
gosh i've tried everything and downgrading to 2.2.1 doesn't seem to work for me, and the posts i find are so old...any replies will be greatly appreciated, thanks
 
idk about you guys but im keeping 2.2.2 because atleast my phone isnt restarting by itself and its alot more stable. I'll just wait for a root to come out
 
i did it and it said root complete! now im just waiting for my phone to finish turning on and ill see if it really worked :DDD

It is all about control. You have a small group of psychopaths who run the corporations and governments. It's like the cartoons when you were a child. Some moron that laughs like a crack whore (e.g. Cobra Commander) sits in some office laughing about this -- laughing all the way to the bank. The bankers get the last laugh...
 
I actually updated to 2.2.2 again because I was tired of the randoms reboots and it works way better than before! I would recommend to update if you don't mind the bloatware a lot. The only app that really pisses me off is "my extras". Anyways it would be great if they get to root the last update! to get rid of it!

My girl and brother both have my stock-debloated-themeable Tom I made and never once had a random reboot.its probably either bad downloads or u didn't wipe good enough ;) or due to a bug in the rom.

Can confirm that the newest 2.2.2 update (V7) isn't able to be rooted with Gingerbreak. Said it was successful and even rebooted the phone however titanium backup complained that I did not have root privileges.
 
Ill ask him how he did it. Cause I believe he did root the 2.2.2. And no he didn't change the build.prop to say 2.2.2 lol.
 
Isnt there a way to manually root and not the 1 click root method. I heard it can get you bricked if you do it wrong though.
 
I just downloaded this latest update that is suppose to help the reboot issue. Has anyone rooted the updated version.
