Root rooting lg optimus m with update 2.2.2

Maybe we could try using root methods for the nexus s to root ours? Just pitching in an idea

I wanna do it the manual way. The getting the specific files from superoneclick and doing it through adb. But I cant do that unless I have the 2.2.2 update. which hasnt worked for me.

So then Im guessing you need a test dummy of some sort to try your method?

anyone root 2.2.2 yet? could you post up a link?

I doubt anyone has yet. eh.
But these guys are working on one.

I just need to know if the software tool gave the right drivers. Can someone give me the names of the drivers? And who ever did the successful update. Could they tell me which rom were they on before?

nope, unfortunately, it has the same problem as the last one. I gets to the killing/restarting adb part and it stops. Ill keep trying though.
