Root Rooting NC running 1.4.3?

Hi~
Been lurking for awhile, but I registered this morning.
First, thanks for all the help in rooting my NC in the past. Couldn't have done it without the help of this site.
I used clockworkmod 3.2.0.1, manualnooter 5.02.19 and Dalingrin 090111 OC kernel, to root my NC running 1.4.2. Can I use the same method for NC running 1.4.3?
B & N zapped me again (need to block OTA updates!) and I would like my root back.
Thanks for any advice/help~

Colchiro-
Great to get a reply from you since your posts are what prompted/helped me in the past!
This is becoming quite an annoyance!! I am getting better at it and having the SD card prepared, makes things so much easier.
I am NO expert on all of this, but at least I can muddle through!
I will look into CM7 and thanks for all your help!

OTOH, maybe you'd be happier with CM7? I recommend CM7 Mirage.

Mirage ran a lot better on mine than CM9. With CM9 I had problems with it shutting down by itself and I could never get LCD Density to work.

Mirage also seemed to run smoother using the ADW launcher.

I switched my wife from Mirage to CM9 months ago and need to get her back on it again. I should still have the recovery backup that I can restore, but need to find out what apps I need to restore from TIBU.

Morning~
Just to briefly get back to CWM/manual nooter on NC running 1.4.2...

When I used to insert my SD card in above, it would ALWAYS boot into CWM-if I shut it off and then rebooted.
Now, when I insert my SD card into NC running 1.4.3- the Nook completely ignores the card and just reboots to un-rooted 1.4.3.
I know some people say they have had success without wiping out NC (running 1.4.3) and just using the same method as when rooting 1.4.2...but not me!
~ Well, I meant to be brief :), but not so much!!~
As Colchiro suggested, I would be willing to give CM7 a shot, but the above issue is going to haunt me, until I get a resolution!!
What did B & N do this time that is making things so difficult? Never had this problem re-rooting in the past.

I see you started a thread on XDA (good).... [Q] Root method for 1.4.3? - xda-developers

Things you could try flashing:
5.5.0.4 bootable image: [USER][TIPS]CM7/CM9 User Tips From LeapinLar - xda-developers
Stock TWRP image from here: [GUIDE] Install CM7 or CM9 + Recovery to EMMC - ALL NOOK COLORS! (Updated:6/29/12) - xda-developers

Those are both excellent guides.

Two good people I know to get help from on this forum would be Bobstro or Koopakid08. They seem to be pretty active with stock roms. There may be other people as knowledgeable, but those are the only two that come to mind and are somewhat active here. Most of the rest have replaced the stock rom.

Personally, I think the NC is way under-powered and if I had the problem, I'd give it away and preorder the Nexus 7, due mid-July... $200-8gb and $250 for 16gb. I have an order for the 16gb.

I found XDA before this site, but never actually tried rooting my NC, until you recommended a few threads over there. I have a difficult time actually explaining what I want to convey, when posting. This is because I don't actually know the terminology and the other techy stuff. XDA can be a bit intimidating, sometimes!
Colchiro~Why do you recommend CM7 mirage over CWM/nooters? Can you explain the difference? Can CM7 be used on NC running any software update?
Thanks again, for the guidance!

P.S.-My friends got me the NC for my birthday, hoping I would enjoy reading on it. I have YET to read 1 book!!! :)

I've never read a book on a tablet either. I've played a few games, checked my email, but spend more time updating it. :D

Now I feel the need to replace my HP Touchpad with the Google Nexus 7 and maybe the 10 when it comes out, yet I don't use it much. I'm hoping the 7" one will be portable to take with me more, but we'll see. I have no jacket pocket in the summer to put it in and winters are too cold in ND to carry one. (We only have winter and road construction seasons here.)

CM9 lags on the NC and Mirage is optimized to be a bit faster than CM7, yet is themed to look similar to CM9 (same icons). The link should tell you what they've done to it. You could also run CM7. Both are installed the same way and use the same gApps, you just need to figure out which rom (CM7 or Mirage) rom file to install and download it.
