Root Rooting Noob here.

[Johnny-5]

I've been browsing the forums trying to get a feel for the Fascinate the past few days. Just bought it. I would appreciate if someone could get me up to speed.

Where can I find the latest rooting method? The "Everything Root" Tutorial on this forum is a little hard to follow and I'm not sure if its up to date. I need something that explains what I'm doing. I don't mind doing a little reading.

What do the D#### patches represent? What are the main ones?

Thanks a lot.

I just rooted yesterday. I used the method outlined in this post: Modified CWMrecovery for Odin (DJ05/DL09) Plus new root instructions (Updated 1/15)
