Root rooting question

First things first...great site very informative,read so much but did not find anything on this particular problem!


I have followed the guide exactly and no yellow box in odin(port mapping)

using win 8 pro w/mc
64 bit system
drivers from dl,also checked Samsung site for drivers for 64 and they are identical
debug on,sd in>unmounted/sd out>>>same result.

question is does this work (confirmed) in win8 x64?

phone is recognized by pc outside of odin too


camera,vol down,power button>downloading...all steps carefully followed and still nothing

I do believe non of these are set for win 8. So I think you'll have to use compatibility mode.

tried compatability to no avail...

are these setup for xp,vista or 7 ?

multi-boot is not a problem for me,also I see much success but not many posts bout 32/64 system,but drivers for both are included so I would assume...lol

I use win 7. Works perfectly. And yes there are drivers for both 32 and 64

quick update:

missed a atep>"install drivers from within folder"...

win 8 works too!!!
