I have a rooted Thunderbolt, but I'm having a replacement unit sent to me because mine has charging issues...
From what I gather, I'm going to have to flash the original unit back to stock before returning it to Verizon. And then once I get the new one I'm going to have to root it.
So I have two questions:
1. Does anyone have a link to a ROM that will return my phone back to stock?
2. Can anyone provide me with directions for rooting my new TB on a Mac? From what I've read online, the new Gingerbread OTA has mucked this process up a little bit.
Thanks!

option 2 would be to download the files right to the phone(please check md5s before flashing!)
it may be worth your time to call asurion directly(not verizon) and ask about your policy.
