Help Rooting, Snes Emulator, for Version 2.3.3

Okay. i just purchased my evo 4g about 2 weeks ago. from the market place i purchased the SNES emulator and the Rom Fetcher. So my phone has been updated to the 2.3.3 version and ive read that there is no rooting solution for this version right now. With these emulators is there absolutely no way for me to download ROMS onto the phone? I'm just completely lost on how and what i should do to get these SNES games onto my phone.

for an emulator, couldn't you just download roms onto a computer, connect the phone via usb, transfer the roms to the sd card and load them that way?

i don't have an emulator on my evo, but i had one on my centro and that's how i did it. i don't see how it couldn't work that way.

there is also some emulator apps that have the ability to download roms directly. i forget which ones though.
