Root Rooting with Anti-virus?

May 10, 2010

I followed the instructions provided on here and have rooted my phone and it is working perfectly fine now.
I have downloaded an anti-virus application.
The scanning process goes through fine, but it says that the section of settings has some sort of suspicious item located within it.

Then I get a disclaimer that comes up, saying that my phone is rooted. Rooting the phone in itself is not a bad thing to do, but it leaves your phone more vulnerable to malware, spyware, etc.

Two options appear, Fix It ; or Ignore.

My question was, If I proceed to press "Fix It"; Will it delete some of the rooting files and make my phone nonoperational? Or is there something really malicious stored in my phone that it is trying to get rid of?

Thank you,
