Rooting without usb

I say this because I haven't heard of a way. U can always google.
But a "locked root" phone wouldn't let you do it internally.
Would it?

Some phones are capable of root without a pc..I believe maybe the evo and some others...but this phone (prevail) is not....you will need access to a PC for a lil bit in order to root and install CWM..after that mostly everything else is fair game without a pc
