I see there's RSDlite 4.9 out now, is that what everyone's using now to sbf? Or is 4.8 still the best? Do you still need to patch 4.8? If so, where do you get the patch?

I used 4.9 just the other day, I had 4.8 installed, downloaded .9 and just did setup without uninstalling, no issues what so ever.

4.7 needed a patch, 4.8 did not, 4.8 still works with no problem. 4.9 also works but I believe requires a password ( ? if I remember correctly)

the password was just to get the zip or rar file to extract if I remember correctly. That password was alabama, but the actual program itself didn't require one.

4.9 updated features that didn't pertain to the X.

OMAP4430 support
NVIDIA Everest support
Added Olympus security
Droid2WE, Venus2 BP Bypass flash support
Added support for chipset MSM7225S

Oh ok. I downloaded it because I couldn't get 4.8 to work on my computer. But it turned out to be my computer and not the program. After doing a system restore all is good.
