Root rubix blurry for gb

Haha, I've been on this since the release. It's great; stable and quick with a lot of bloat removed. But don't trust me; I'm pretty much a Drod fanboi (pom poms and all :p).

Can I flash it over the deodexed rom? Also, I'm confused... Does it have blurs tuff out not?

@Steven:Yes, you can flash this over Deodexed roms. I wiped data before flashing but I don't think it's absolutely required (only if you have problems post install).

Some blur has been removed. The remaining blur aps are:
Alarm, Backup assist, camera/camcorder, email, gallery, mediashare/dlna, and social networking. I can take a capture of my app drawer if you'd like.

I think (not too sure about this) Drew's roms are faster/snappier but Blurrybread appears to be more stable.

@Fragdroid: +1. The new blur is good and I think it'll take a bit of time before the majority of us have that urge to mod again. But it'll happen for sure. Kejar is going to be working on Liberty GB and I'm excited to see what that brings.

I'm not ready to setup a new rom from scratch.

Anyone try upgrading their existing GB to this without a factory reset?

I flashed back to stock deodexed gb and flashed it over that no issues.

Me too. Took two attempts to get into recovery before I remembered I had to turn off usb debugging to use the DroidX recovery.

All I did was delete cache partition, flash Blurry, then wonder why I was doing this when I was expecting a call soon. :D

I flashed without wiping, no issues.

EDIT: And as soon as I go to put back GApps, I ran into FC's.

Same problem. And you can't "Add to home" from the drawer - it just doesn't work. Other than that, fantastic.

I wiped everything and it's exceptionally fast.

You can't add to home from the fully leaked rom either. That peeved me. ... a touch. ;)

It worked fine for me before Rubix. Long press, add to home, then it would to to the home screen with the icon in a green grid and you can place it where ever you want.

I couldn't make a call from rooted GB w/o a long-press, then choosing "call" from the menu. Still have the same issue with this rom. I can live with it.

I had a current GB-rooted before upgrading without wiping so no other issues.

I had an issue with loading my contacts and found that it came from having messed with the yahoo stuff that came with the gb leak. I had frozen it wit TiBu. When I un froze my contact issues went away.

I don't understand. Can you explain further?

There's an option to catagorize apps in the app drawer then move them to the homescreen as a group. That doesn't seem to be working, but the folders does, so that's how I go.

Yup, that was it... stuff frozen in TIBU. Thanks. :D
