Root Ruby 1.1.1 is out!

How do bluetooth earbuds work anyways? Like where on your phone do you go to connect them?

Please forgive me if I am misunderstanding your question. Bluetooth is a wireless connection and must be paired. Menu/Settings/Wireless&Networks/BlueTooth and BluetoothSettings

Enable bluetooth and then in Bluetooth settings you "Scan for Devices" and pair. But don't waste you time doing it with this rom :p

Anybody else showing "Mobile Network State" as disconnected? ...and therefore not being able to use the mobile network? Cuz I am...

You might also try and turning airplane mode or wifi on and off. This seems like a problem that isn't limited to just this ROM and that trick has helped many others including myself.

i've been running ruby great since it came out then today i've had 1 reboot and one time where the phone became unresponsive and i could not get the screen to come on so i had to do a battery pull. overall i'm really liking this rom.

I've been running this rom since last night, and so far I'm liking it. I have noticed that the battery is draining faster than it did on fourth wave (like 1 percent every minute or so when I'm using it) and that it doesn't like kernels other than the one that came with it. All king kernels and hydra kernels make the screen lock up. I am trying several chevy01 kernels and I'll let you all know how those work :)

I don't understand why people keep trying to use King Kernels or Hydra kernels with AOSP ROMs. I had heard that KK was working on a AOSP kernel build, but until that happens they won't work.

If it's a ROM built off of Sense and tweaked, then KK or Hydra will work.

If it's an AOSP ROM, such as IncredibleDoes' AOSP, CM6, Ruby, or UltimateDroid (I don't appreciate where UD came from, but I'm including it for everyone's understanding) then you can only use kernels designed for AOSP. In that regard, I think koush is the only person to put out varying kernels. If I am mistaken and someone else has AOSP kernels, please let me know. :)

kk has an aosp kernel for the evo... not sure when or if he will make one for the incredible... he posted the aosp evo kernel on the 2nd of sept... maybe in a few days because I really like cm6/ruby but the battery life isn't like it is with KK bfs sense kernels

King said over on XDA that he's working on an AOSP kernel for the Incredible.

Ruby 1.1.1 is almost done, they are still working on the camera issues and then it will be complete. This will make a strong push against CM 6.

Once they get Bluetooth audio working, I'm giving this a go. Love my SkyRaider Vanilla but this has me way too curious for my own good.

this was now added to the changelog so maybe its about to be released

Added better camera/camcorder resolution support [cyanogen]
Provides more support for encoding video, audio, and imagery
within the camera application, based on what is supported by
the hardware

sniffle said they are getting close :)

yea cm6 seems to be coming along nicely finally but the ruby crew really seems to be on top of things.

It is very exciting to me to have multiple great ROMS at this point. Things have been far slower in development that the Droid 1 was so its about time :)

i'm changing ROMs at least 1-2 times a day now, which is getting a bit ridiculous. but i can't help myself...

Im the same way. Im at work and have already changed my rom twice. about to be three times. Im going back to ruby. I really like this rom. But I do have a question. Been using Skyraider vanilla for the most part and I love the battery indicator on that rom. Is there any way to put that on Ruby? Besides that and the fact that the only rom Ive been able to get hulu to work properly on is Skyraider the rom is perfect for me. I dont think Ill be switching as much.

not sure about the battery you could try to flash a battery mod and see how it goes, just make sure you have a nandroid. did you check gem settings? they may have something in there that can modify the battery to your liking. and since ihtfp69 is the one who fixed hulu, his roms are gonna work best with hulu.
