Root [S-OFF] Juopunutbear S-OFF -Beta Release

Would anyone be willing to post a video for this? It seems like each individual person has a different experience with this process and some requiring special commands to get running. Its all making me a little nervous. Any suggestions?
 
I finally got it! That was tough! I can't seem to get into fastboot now. Hmmmm.

edit: NVM... I got it.

Run what works best for you, different strokes for different folks.
 
Well that was fun. Officially s-off :D

I recommend everyone do this. It was actually painlessly easy. Took a few tries but it finally went though. Feels good knowing my phone is completely unlocked.
 
Congrats. My only advice to anyone wanting to try us to watch the video posted a few posts up. They explain exactly what to do with the wire and how to check for drivers. That video made it easy
 
Ok wish me luck. I'm about to do the SOff with a paper clip wrapped in scotch tape. So if this fails then I'm back to using my OV..

omfg why every time i do the wire trick phone reboots then goes Please wait.....
<5/45>**daemon still not running error so fourth so on but its been two hours n my phone will not boot regularly it only shows blackscreen with juopunutbear

take out the battery, put it back in, and do the wiretrick again.

Try asking on the juopunutbear site. They have people on the chat to help you.
 
I got to the wire trick step. The problem was the ROM I was trying to flash on. Was trying the stock shooter ROM, and I just tried it on the UltraMatrix ROM and it worked. Now I'm gonna do the wire trick.

You could boot into recovery from the bootloader menu, with phone off, press power button+volume key down at the same time, then when you are already in bootloader, select recovery then power button, after that you should be in your recovery menu.

Don't be vague. Explain exactly what it's happening and what you see. What you are pressing and when. Can you boot into the bootloader? What happens when you press those buttons while the phones off?
 
my problem-The phone reboots only to the &#8220;arrow screen&#8221; but I&#8217;m still S-ON and I want to give up for now.See the Rom/Data recovery section below.

my solution-ControlBear -r (This is run with the phone at the JuopunutBear/Arrow screen). If this succeeds recovery is complete otherwise continue to step 2.

my other problem-idk how to make controlbear use the recovery option
