Help S2 and android market

I have an s2 and its brilliant, couldn't ask for a better phone.

Not sure of its a software bug or i need to get a new Google account.
The problem i have is that android market doesn't seem to load fully (my apps button is only half visible)

Also Google maps and Google earth are not there. Also tried downloading maps 5.5 from the website, it directs me to market and says requested item cannot be found.

All help much appreciated
Edit: UK phone. Currently in Croatia (never had this problem on my HTC desire.) and never had a problem in Croatia before
 
Sounds really strange to be honest, have you tried a factory reset?

Also might be worth going to Settings--> Applications--> Manage applications--> Market and see if you have an option to uninstall updates (could be a Market update gone wrong).
