I have been trying to figure out the proper way to install the S4 rom all day that its been hella nerve wrecking and I cant really get any help like their isnt really any one here like it use to any more. But long story short the threads on the proper installation are screwed so I cant download exactly what I need to take the steps to fixing it to make it work and everytime I think I got it working it says 1) unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped and 2) the factory test has stopped. I dont what to do, I ran out of all ideas and im just ready to quit trying if there is no help available.... so if anybody know anything about the fix for this rom please help me out? I tried it all so the question part of asking me is irrelavant. I just want to know what kernel and modem I need for this damn rom? Sorry you guys just irritated.

I've installed this rom, give me a few minutes to look at what the files I have for it, and I'll write up real quick how I did it.

I was just on it. Here's what I did. I used mobile odin and flashed the stock cwm El26 recovery .tar. after that I wiped data/cache/dalvik and then flashed the jb format all x2 .zip. then I flashed the Rom, and rebooted. Worked great. Then to get a recovery I flashed the SXTP agat 5.0 kernel through mobile odin. That should help

I see they updated it two days ago, when I first did it they had me do the Touched by SGS3 before SGS4. I might try it again, may be a cleaner install. But the instructions are the same, the old instructions said to do the factory reset and wipe cache and delvik after you flash the rom.

I'm also seeing they have you use the EL26+CWM kernel/recovery where as I had to use the EL29 direct boot recover/kernel, so things may not operate quite the same anymore. If doing the wipes I mentioned do not fix your problem, let me know I'll flash this rom and see if I come up with the same errors.

Im on it now. The newest version already includes the agat oc gb27 kernel. Just download the rom and the jb 2x wipe all from the op and get the gb27 modem.. then flash el29 direct boot. Flash the 2x wipe all. Then flash the rom. Boot the phone. Now reboot to recovery and flash the modem bc modems dobt seem to flash in el29 or el26. Now reboot and your good to go. Just make sure your getting the newest version of the rom

I did that but I heard the gb27 modem didn't act right while flashing it on mobile Odin is that true.

Mobile Odin doesn't do Modems properly no matter what modem you are trying to flash. You need to either use PC Odin or the CWM flash-able zip format

I used this Rom for a few weeks until i realized i was on gc01...I just switched to gb27 a couple days ago and it didn't make much of a difference.... just figured it's let you know gc01 works

GB27 and GC01 are basically the same except for labeling and bloat apps. You can use the GB27 kernel on GC01. They were compiled only a couple days apart from each other.
