adb reboot recovery -> What do you see on your screen once the phone reboots ? You should see a phone first with a green and then a red icon, correct ?

Then you should all be set.

Fully charge your battery.

Delete the update from your sdcard.

Restarts the update process (Settings -> System Updates -> HTC software update).

It will ask you if you want to apply the update now. Select yes.

It should boot into the (htc) recovery and take about 5 minutes and restart a few times and then the phone will come back up, with the update installed.

At the end, you have much to loose and little to gain, so consider if the update is worth it.

Just wanted to note something I came across today that changed in the update, now clicking the address bar in the stock browser highlights the entire link, where as before it would put the cursor at the end. I've been using Chrome Beta lately, so I'm not sure of any other changes that might have been made to it, just happened to come across it. I suppose they might have also updated the WebKit version as well, for anyone interested according to (Settings > About Phone > Software Information > More > Browser version) it is "WebKit/534.30"

Sorry for the off current topic post but as this thread talks about the update, figured I'd post it in here along with the other information about it.
