Same chargers for S3/Note3?

Hi

Yes, all standard USB chargers will safely work with any device which has a standard or mini usb charger input. They are all the same voltage. The difference between chargers is the maximum output in amps. Some chargers (including usb output from PC ports) only give a max 0.5 amps. Some devices can pull up to 2amps (if its available). Its not a problem except in that the device will take longer to charge on a low rated charger. Look at the charger - it will say on it its rated output often in milliAmps
0.5amps = 500 mAmps.

The s3 charger is 1.2A and should be fine. I dont know what current the note 3 draws, if its more than that it will just charge a bit slower :thumbup:

thanks. I was just wondering if the connection to the phone was the same. The point where you insert the cable into the phone. So the connections are the same?
thanks

Most Android phones use Micro-USB, but not all. The older HTC G1 uses Mini-USB for example.

Some Chinese Android phones also use mini rather than micro. But think it's the older or some very off-brand ones, and not really sold in the EU. Even if it's mini rather than micro, only have to use a different lead, the chargers themselves are the same.
