Help Samsunf Infuse Sim Card Problem/Compatibility

So I just got my Samsung Infuse...funny thing is when I switched out the sim card from my Atrix the Infuse could not read my sim card...All it said was "Sim Card Not Installed". I then took it into 2 AT&T stores which they proceeded to give me THREE NEW sim cards (keep in mind these are all the "newer" sim cards, the ones without the "3G" sign on them). They all did not work. However when the reps tried their sim cards it DID work...so I can rule out it was not my sim card slot defect. I then took a new "older" sim card I had laying around (the one with the orange "3G" logo on it) and had AT&T transfer my account to that sim card and VOILA it worked...

...so I was just wondering has anybody has this problem and which sim card are you guys using? The Newer one (with a blank design supposedly "4G") or the older one with the "3G" logo. Because if you guys are using the newer ones I will call and try to get a new unit.

I know that there are differences in the cards but I am new to this whole sim card biz... we have had to call in on our inspire ..the guy put a 3g card in it and the phone did not like it ..internet wouldn't work.

same thing happened with our aria

both times att was able to fix the issue ota... never did they not read at all.
