Best guess, from Verizon via an OTA = November.
With the source code's release yesterday, I venture to guess the dev's could give us something to flash as soon as this weekend and no later than next week. This of course assumed you are willing to go that route with rooting, CWM, et al

There's been no official word yet, lots of hints and rumors and such but that's as much as we'll get. I'd guess "soon" but what that means, who knows.

Birdman has built a Froyo kernel already. Its true that no one knows when soon will be. But with a testing/alpha kernel soon should be...well...soon

So much for the November release. I asked Samsung through their chat and was told there is no date, nor is there an estimated date. Hopefully they release it soon.

Yep. That's my guess for Froyo now, too. 2.2 on 2.2.2012. (had to add one more extra "2"!!) Might as well.

Think I'm ready to give that a try. The stock EB01 leak is giving me the "yawn" effect now.
