New customer or add a line to existing account for $199, upgrade for $249. I'm hoping others will do similar for Christmas shopping. What do you all think?

Looked through more devices on Amazon, some good deals for new lines/upgrades

Samsung Galaxy S2 $0.01
Samsung Galaxy S3 (16GB) $0.01
Samsung Galaxy S3 (32GB) $149.00
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 $69.99
HTC Evo 4G LTE $0.01

Just an fyi, that note II price is only for new lines.

yrmv....had a friend get lucky and pick up two as upgrades at $69.99 via price match at best buy minus the $50 gift card offer from earlier this month for $19.99 plus tax

don't forget..best buy no longer will match Amazon after 3-3-13

Amazon upgrade price is $199

Bummer they are back up to 250/299 :/

Oh well, I'll just make my Evo limp along a bit longer.

Radio Shack still have it for $199 for contract renewals, that is where I got mine.

Finally got mine from Radio Shack $149.99 so far so good. Rooted it but can't seem to get tethering sorted out. Kind of a bummer

So far I really like it.

Still $650 :p
They usually don't do sales for the phone just by itself. Best way to get one at a lower cost without a plan would be Craigslist, eBay, etc.

I would just wait on the SGN2 and pick up the SGN3 at release if that device is your cup of tea. It's right around the corner anyway.

I couldn't wait till the end of the year. I yell at my SG2 daily. Picked up the note 2 today.
