Hi
I live in mumbai and I'm planning to buy this phone, but I have a few questions. I would appreciate any help.
1) has anyone here found a good screen guard accessible here or maybe online from hk with cheap/free shipping.
2) similarly for an open face case
3) is there a way to buy paid apps via the app store?
4) any suggestions for a good place to buy it cheap in mumbai![]()
Hi Folks,
I am new to this forum and bought a Galaxy S last friday....So far this thread has been a great resource for information on SGS...Really appreciate the efforts of the members
I am facing stiff problems with my bluetooth...I am not able to send any files to others over bluetooth...One of the observations I have is that it works for files lesser than approx 2 MB whereas for files larger than 2 MB, there is a error on my phone 'The reciever has rejected the request' (Not in the exact words though)and the error on the other phone happens to be 'Operation failed'
One more problem I noticed is with the Youtube app...if I pause the video in the middle to let it stream and then unpause it, the video won't play....seeking forward or backward won't help either
Has anyone come across these problems?? My SGS is still running on the stock Eclair 2.1 that it came with. Haven't played much with rooting/flashing. Any help/info will be greatly appreciated

Does the scratchguard reduce the screen sensitivity any bit?
I've had all previous bad experiences with skins. So using the SGS naked now!

Scratchguards have screen protectors made especially for the SGS. It covers the whole of front face except the Home ( Center button ).
I'd rather have a screen guard on than leave the screen exposed.

I don't have a working GPRS connection on my phone.. So guess it wouldn't make any difference to me!
To use the other party's image, tap and hold the other party's image. You can capture an image of the screen or record the video call.If you want to record your calls then ur out of luck as two way recording is not supported in android officially. Dont know if you can enable it after root.

Hi Friends, I am planning to buy this awesome phone, but please help me with this query. I am a heavy sms user and forward my messages to many friends at one time. My existing Samsung phones do not allow to forward messages to more than 10 phone at one time... is it possible to forward messages, at one go, to may be 100 phone numbers at one time? (similar to most nokia devices). Please help as this is an important aspect for me before buying the phone..... Thanks in advance
