Help samsung galaxy tab

Hi,
Two days ago I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 from pcworld in slough.
I have a network comprising two laptops, a pc and a printer. One laptop runs Vista, the other XP. The pc runs Windows 7.
The network access point is via a Linksys Wireless-G ADSL2+ Gateway WAG54 G2.
The system has a WEP 28bit security key.
My problem is that I cannot make a connection to the internet using my Galaxy Tablet.

Would you believe it Pcworld cannot help me??!!
The Network SSID is entered correctly; The Security entry is WEP and the password is entered in the correct field.
All I get after doing this, are the following messages:-

Scanning.
Obtaining IP address from..
Signal Strength Excellent
Link speed 54Mbps

After hitting the Connect button we get,
under the Network Name "Rememberd, Secured with WEP"
and this is followed within a few seconds by "Disabled, Secured with WEP"
When I go back and hit the Connect button again,this situation repeats itself.

Can you help me?

hey u'l i've had ta tab almost 2 weeks now and cant seem to figure out how to move applications that i've downloaded from internal memory on to the sd card... it just doesnt seem to happen... Already tried the app2sd application,this app only saves it on the sd but it doesnt really get deleted or moved outta the internal memory....:(
 
:confused: I would like to know if anyone here can help me out on this, I have the samsung galaxy GT P1000 tab and I put in all my contacts, which when reviewed, all looked correct and normal, however, when I went to google market and signed up and it loaded, I thought all was ok until I went to send a message and went to my contacts, every single name thats in the contacts were trippled. My name showed itself 6 times and all others showed from 3 to 4 times over the single particular name I put in. When i hard re-set and placed in the contacts without signing in to the google marketplace, all is normal as it should be. Anyone happen to know why this is happening??? Am I doing something wrong here, I'd love to sign in to the marketplace, but not if this is going to happen. I tried this a couple of times and I still got this contacts run-on with names I have in.

Guys ,,I need help with my new Samsung galaxy ( Verizon) , I am deployed , I activated when I was in the states , now I am out of the country , I am not able to log on MWR WIFI ( MWR is an open WIFI moral for military), but I am able to log on my WIFI at the house , but the problem when I am using my WIFI at the house SKYPE doesn
 
My sim is recognized and I can send txt msgs, but when i try and use the phone it rings, but drops the connection. Am I missing something obvious?
 
I am having the same problem. For a few days the wi-fi worked and connected to my network just fine. but now today, it refuses to connect. same situation happens that you described.....

Im having the same problem with my tablet did you ever figure out what was wrong or how to fix it. All other devices in my house are connected but not my tablet. Reply back if you find out anything.
 
My Galaxy began having the same problem Friday. The Wi-Fi settings indicates "Disabled, secured with WEP."

I understand how things work and it's nothing I've done. I made no configuration changes to system or apps. No applications added or deleted. Something has changed under the radar. My desktops, Droids, and DroidX devices were not affected.

I'm serviced by Verizon and use an Actiontec MI424WR router.

Ideas?
