Help samsung s2 obb help please

[sti8]

Hi just joined am I "newbie" so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section.

Im having a trouble installing a game with the obb file. I've installed the apk copied the obb file to android/obb.

When I go to run a game it either crashes or I get a message saying "download error make sure your connected to the internet"

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Which game? Have you contacted the developer to see if it's a known problem with the Galaxy S2, or perhaps a corrupt file? Afaia most games automatically install their data files during installation.

Im currently trying to get metal slug x on my s2
Ive followed all instructions only for it to crash or say download error and no I haven't contacted the developer. Is this a known issue?

There are reports about crashng in the Play Store comments, but only one directly refers to the S2. Try going into Application Management, clearing the app's data and cache, uninstall it, restart the handset and then reinstall.

Btw, any required data files should automatically be installed correctly; not sure why you're having to do it manually.
