Root Say hello nananana.

That's odd o_O lol But you can't argue with results

I can:D

The results can be tainted by looking at different phones. My Epic doesn't have the sensitivity that the MT has. As a result, the signal has to look stronger for me to have a signal. On top of that the MT can get a signal in places that my Epic can't. To expand, the MT will show a signal down to -125dBm where as the Epic will show down to -106dBm. The MT will alway be about 10dBm lower in the same places as my Epic, but, like I said, will be usefull even lower.

Unless you are using the same phone (maybe the ET4G) then you can't make a good compareson.

Very good point, DSM. I had Virgin for a few months in early 2007 before getting a contract with Verizon. After I moved, Verizon's coverage was absolute garbage. Verizon kept pushing me to buy a new phone, telling me that the problem was with my Razr (one of the best phones on the market at the time) but I finally got tired of them trying to take my money and ended my contract about 6 months early. I switched back to VM in Spring 2009 & I've always been very pleased with their coverage and prices. I do kinda wish I had kept the $25 plan but that's just not enough minutes so I've been on the $45/1200 minute plan for several months.

I've considered dropping VM in favor of a certain competitor who offers the Galaxy S4 but I'm actually still quite pleased with my Triumph after almost 11 months. I seem to be lucky in that I don't have the issues that many others suffer from. My GPS locks in fairly quickly no matter what ROM I'm running. I did have some issues with my charging port a couple months ago but $12 spent at Best Buy on a new USB cable solved that problem. And my battery cover does come off a little *too* easily (another common MT complaint) but I broke one of the plastic latch pieces so I really only have myself to blame.

I have seen what Android phones are capable of and the MT does pale in comparison. But, quite frankly, the MT does exactly what I need (well, WANT more than need LOL) it to do and it does it well enough to keep me satisfied. And it's on a service provider that, while not the greatest by any means, does give me phone service at over half the cost of a "contract" phone. Thanks to the work of a few talented & dedicated people, my MT is a great phone. Many people felt that Virgin & Motorola dropped the ball with the Triumph, but since purchasing mine last October I have never once regretted it.

And that's my two cents...

yeah everything you said. I do love the MT and I don't really wanna switch phones unless I can have both. I don't really wanna root and custom another phone so I will probley just keep and use my MT for $25 a month as Hot spot

Straight talk? I think they have a deal where you just buy their sim card... at least they used to. Haven't looked at their phones lately.

I have tried to get a straight talk sim for att and you can't buy on unless you go to eBay and they are like100 bucks. Now the only way to use prepaid att is with go sims.
