Root SBF Failure need help please

DragonMan

Lurker
Was trying to flash using RSD Lite version 4.8 and 4.9 even tried the latest moto drivers... It is failing at 97% with the following error

15:08:40, March 29, 2011
Line: 597
ERROR: Flash failure: Interface BP: Error sending RAM download for bootloader. Device API Error: 0xE003003F Address: 0x1BE400 Command: ADDR (Error Code: e003003f),
Detailed Error Details: Direction of the Error=2000, Command Value=200000, Code Group Number=257
File: D:\GitProjects2\hdt_windows_flash\flash\code\flashdll\FlashHdlr.cpp
Device ID: 0

When I boot up the phone I see:
Bootloader
30.04

Code Corrupt

Battery OK
OK to program
Transfer Mode:
USB

Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do. I am using the 2.3.340 Official SBF file (VRZ_MB810_2.3.34_1FF_01.sbf)

Thanks

Try to redownload the sbf and try again ...it sounds like a corrupt download ....your rsd and drivers are fine if the program launches and gets to 97% complete

i sbf back to 2.3.340 adn i cant go in to recovery to make a data factory reset i hit sear and the recovery menu wont apear.please help

So, for me the issue was to NOT do flashing on Windows7 x64. The RSD Lite is buggy there. Also, with a Code Corrupt error message it's important to check all the options on the Config -> Flash/Flex Options. Don't use Windows7 x64 for flashing, bottom line.
