Root sbf help please!

Alright guys. I got rsd 4.8 and the sbf file in it ready to go but rsd wont pick up my phone. My phone is stuck at M so I put it into bootloader and connected usb and I got Nothin. Can anyone help me please im going insane!

I'd reload the moto drivers. Should fix the problem.

Hi,

Make sure you have the current DX moto drivers for your pc.
USB and PC Charging Drivers - Motorola Mobility, Inc. USA

Then, while you're at it update your RSDlite to 4.9
Download RSD Lite 4.9.rar from uploading.com - Filestube.com - download everything

Make sure you are in bootloader mode. Hold down the camera button and volume down, with that held hold the power button down until you get into bootloader mode. (this is from the phone powered down).

Get both RSD Lite 4.9 AND Motorola Drivers 4.9.

Launch RSD Lite.

Then, with your phone off, hold down the camera button, the volume down button, and the power button. Once your phone turns on, it should be in the bootloader screen. It will say connect USB, hook up the wire.

Go from there.

And you are in bootloader mode?

Exactly. Are you sure you have the motorola drivers I showed you installed for your PC?

I downloaded motohelper and it gave me the option to clean, update, reinstall. I tried all of em and nothing seems to work

What OS are you running on your pc? Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit is a little tricky running RSDlite.

Got it! Im so happy Haha.almost took it in for man. Warranty. I had to go to config in rsd life then chagne to first come first serve. Sbf in progress

That was one of the things I needed to do when I was having the same problem trying to .sbf. I also had a drivers issue and had to wipe the phone and reinstall the drivers before I could connect to .sbf my X.
