Root SBF not working gb with broodcomb 4 rom

Hello.. i started having a few problems a couple days ago.. mainly with texting.. everytime i hit the space bar the keyboard would freeze then disappar, then i found out my settings where gone.. i mean i cant change brightness ringtone turn wifi on or off nothing.. so i decided to sbf today back to 2.3.34 same sbf ive done a few times before...

well according to rsd lite 4.9 everything works great.. but on boot up i get the white moto logo which once was blu but instead of the droid eye anime i get the broodcomb honeycomb anime... and ive left it alone for over 20 min and nothing.. ive sbf'ed 4 times and still the same problem everytime.. i thought sbfing erased everything and started anew.. any ideas...
 
I had same problem this morning, battery pull then push it back in while holding down Power, volume buttons and home. Do a facrtory reset, if still bootloop after that i'd say run sbf again

im not getting the option to factory reset.. just boots up and loops or i can get to the bootloader screen
 
i tried sbfing with a different sbf file and didnt realize that 2.3.32... now no matter what i use the 2.3.34 or whatever it goes through and then just stops... and the bootloader screen says code currupt...... any idea now????????


now after closing out of rsd and restarting i was able to sucssfully sbf 2.3.34.............. but its still looping the broodcomb anime... WTF... i have a trip to texas in the am and havent a clue on what to do lol... and all my contacts are stored in the phone
 
lol if your coming to the right part of Tx i could help :P

You dont need the bootloader screen, you the factory screen with the droid and exclamation mark

When you boot for the first time you may get stuck

g- Pull the battery out of the phone.
h- Replace battery and then do the following with the phone powered OFF
i- HOLD Home and turn the Phone On. When you see an android with a exclamation mark Release HOME and press the Search Button.

- Use the volume up/down buttons to highlight the option “wipe data/factory reset”
- Press the camera button to select it
- When it finishes choose the option to reboot your phone
- That’s it you are now back to stock

FYI...

SBF's by themselves do not erase everything...they flash the system files...its the data wipe/factory reset that wipes the rest...

as for the bootanimations they have to be changed back manually...based on your description it sounds like it did work...but you need to get into stock recovery and do a data wipe../.
