Screen brightness settings not holding

Every time I turn the screen on and off with the power button my screen brightness if set to low will come back on at full power and vis versa.
Slider hasn't moved but screen brightness is changed.

On deodoxed stock rom 4.1.2... Any ideas?

Is your auto brightness checked?

No, never. Autobrightness is a joke. It's too bright indoors and not bright enough outside.

Download a app that changes the display brightness
And see if it sticks...if it does then your rom needs reflashing...

Or contact the rom maker and see if its a glitch.
