Lurker
I have recently bought the note 2 in hong kong (don't worry I have mase sure it's not a fake one) and after a few days I came back to Israel and the screen started cracking. I didn't move it all it did was lay down and being charged and the screen started breaking and it seems to be getting worse every day. please tell me who and how to contact and what might have caused it

it's kina hard to take a proper picture because i usually take pictures with my phone so i used my pc this time. the main point is that there are tow main cracking from the top to the bottem, one deep cracking on one of them and mini cracking from the edge to the other cracks. if you would really need a proper picture tell me again but i realy need your help http://i50.tinypic.com/16k9eyx.jpg

It's a retiler called "Fortress" we had a tour guide and he said that they are reliable (it's a like vodafone or at&t if you don't know) and we also got a warranty card from samsung but sending it all the way to hong kong is not really an option. samsung in israel says that they could fix it in 2 or 3 weeks when they will start selling it but it costs 250$ or a 1000 NIS and I don't want to wait that long for it

I know that you might have some quastions about the device but trust me it's the real phone I have done my homework before buying it so please can somebody give me an advice on what to do?
I have seen the android authority drop test and I have to say my device wasn't even droped and it failed it

Is that yours pictured in the pic above? It looks more like a note 1

Any better pics?

You got me sitting here with my head bent trying to see if it's a Note 1 or 2. After massaging the crock out my neck :p it looks like the Note 2. Awkward angling cause he used the cam on his computer for the pic. The bottom of the phone looks curvy instead of boxy.

It does look like a Note 2 because of the rounded corners, but either way there are only 2 options. You can either mail it back where you bought it so they can replace it, or take it to a local repair center so they can fix it.

Actually there is a third option; you can live with it and put tape or a screen protector over it.

I vote for option number 2.

It's a note 2... I was also thinking of "option 2" but I was also thinking of a 4th one. can't I buy the screen and replace it myself? I can learn from youtube or something. what''s the price diffrence between doing it yourself or bringing it to a shop

Fortress is a reputable shop.
As far as I know of Samsung in Hongkong always comes with international warranty (if official dealer & not black market stuf, which I think fortress wont sell that kind of stuff).
