What the hell is this purple thing on the left side of the speaker on the screen? Is it like a solar battery charger? Cause that'd be SICK!!

That's a light sensor, it let's the screen auto adjust to the brightness around it.

The screen brightness needs to be set to auto for it to work.

it also turns the home keys lights on and off depending on lightness or darkness

theres also a proximity sensor that turns off your screen when you bring it up to your ear during a call

the replenish has a battery cover that has solar cells on it but u have to buy it
