Screen Has a Blotch?

My screen has this blotch of discoloration on the screen that's only visible at a certain angle. Even when visible, the pixles are able to be seen -- so I don't think it's an area of dead pixels. What is it? Haha.

IDK. But if it gets worse you can always get the LCD off ebay and throw it in there. Isn't hard and isn't expensive.

It might be. Is the screen still visible under the stain when the phone is turned on?

if you have insurance on it and it gets worst throw it in some water haha

have you left your phone out in the sun? It could be sun spots. kinda sounds like that's what it is.

ya it doesnt affect the screen its on the glass it shows at some angles when i get my human grease on it lol

I was thinking about the "sun spot" possibility. I left it in my black car for 7 hours for the past month. Probably what it is. Is it repairable?

Repairable? Yeah, install a new screen.

I wouldn't imagine being able to rub off from where the sun has burned a spot into your screen.

look mine shows even when the screen is off. if yours disappears when the screen is off then its nothing like mine. i cant even see it when my screen is on

I doubt it would be. The Esteem has a TFT panel in it and the Connect uses an IPS. The viewing angle profiles are much different.

I keep my titles ambiguous to draw in a crowd -- it looks like it's working.

I'm kind of doing an update, to see if I can get help:

I removed my screen covering, and it wasn't a strain on that -- so I know it's the screen itself. The blotch is invisible when unlit and the screen is off, so I'm narrowing down the possibilities to fur pixels? Also, the blotch is composed of small circles, I hadn't noticed that earlier. But they're not so small as to be pixels, they're about the size of the LED notification light.

What I've done:

Used a Pixel Tester, the cluster is visible at the angle at every color screen.

Used a Pixel Repairer, let it sit flashing for an hour to no avail




What else can I do to fix this? Stuff like this kills me.
