From other threads here, sounds like it takes about a week to 10 days for Samsung to repair and return.
Reading the teardown over at iFixit leads me to recommend that U Don't Fixit.
Specifically the warning on step 15:
"The glass is fused to both the display and the display frame. So don't crack the glass unless you're good with a heat gun, or you're fond of replacing the glass, display, and frame together ($$$)."
