Help Screen Settings

Well, even though I haven't tried it (GO SMS) ... in defense of Handsent, it is awesome! I love it SOOO much!

And it doesn't slow down my phone at all.

LOL

I just wish there was a option for the screen to stay lit up for longer than 2 seconds.

He's talking about the screen staying lit up when and after he receives a text message. Trust me...he knows how to adjust the screen timeout! LOL

(I do the same thing now and then...forget to read the first post! )

Just wanted to add that NY11725 is not the only one with that issue.

My screen has never lit up when receiving text or email. Only hear the notification tone but screen never comes on. It has been this way since the day I bought it.

I will definitely give Go SMS and Handsent SMS a try.

Better Keyboard 7 is nice. Two choices of colors.

Same here(CRICKET).Only receive notification bar icon & ringtone,never a screen flash,from day one.

Go SMS you can set the options to not only light up the screen BUT also unlock it.
