Help screen shot

I have everything setup correctly (I believe) to you the hand swipe to take a screen shot but nothing happens when I do it, I must be doing something wrong.
In the meantime is there another way to do it?

Are you making sure to gently touch the palm of your hand against the screen when you swipe? Kind of like the wax on, wax off in karate kid? :) The mistake I first made was just hovering my hand above the screen when I swiped without actually making contact with the screen.

I have tried that too :(
I may have to go back to the store today, I mentioned in other threads that my 4G Icon remains on when my Wifi is connected which makes me think I am using both.

Are you touching the screen? Like Finn said, I thought it was an air thing and tried swiping every way I could. Touch the screen with the side of your hand when you swipe. Make sure you have it turned on in settings > My Device > Motions and Gestures > Palm Motion > Capture Screen

Press the power and home button at the same time and hold for a second or two.

So much easier than the gimmick way, that doesn't work in all situations and you end up registering a screen tap instead of getting the screen shot.

It can be tricky. It either works or doesnt work for me so I just do the home and power button thing now.

I agree, it can be tricky! I had it work twice out of about fifty tries, so I just use the power+home button now.

Just some info on the power button and home button thing, you need to press both buttons at the same time. It took me over a week to figure this out!!
