Help Screen Will Not Rotate

[sing14me]

I have a Motorola DroidX phone and since yesterday, my screen will not rotate. I've gone into settings, (made sure that 'auto-rotate' is checked). I've also powered down the phone, taken the battery out...then powered back up. Still no rotation of the screen. Anyone know how to fix this please?

Do you have Launcher Pro?

I remember reading about someone who had a similar problem and I believe they said calibrating the compass helped.
