Help SD card died

So I've had my Fascinate for almost 2 weeks and yesterday the SD card went.
Damaged SD Card message shows up. It cannot be formatted in the phone or via usb adapter on the PC directly.

Anyone else loose there SD card after a short amount of time?

Are you able to see your data on your SD card? I was able to recover from a damaged SD card. Plug your SD card into your computer with an adapter. If you can see your files COPY onto the computer. Put the SD card back in your phone and do not format it when asked, go into settings, pick SD card option and format it there. It should work. Then plug the SD card back into the computer and again COPY the files back on the card. It worked for me hopefully it'll work for you.

No it cannot be read by the phone or a PC as I stated in my original post it's just dead for no reason.

Good news is you should be able to take it right back to VZW and get it replaced. 14 days is still in your warranty window. SDcards do have a remarkably low fail rate you're just unlucky in this case if it truly is dead.
